COVID- 19 Policies and Procedures
At Essence Community Acupuncture, patient safety is our number one concern. With that said, we have implemented new policies and procedures due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. These changes have been made with guidance from the CDC, American Acupuncture Society, NCCAOM, MA Board of Medicine, and State/Town regulations.

-
All staff are required to wear a mask in the building. Masks for patients are rccommended.
-
Sanitizing station upon entry.
-
All patients are asked to reschedule if they are feeling ill or have symptoms (or have been exposed to someone with symptoms) such as: fever, shortness of breath, or cough.
-
Disinfectant used on all surfaces before and after each treatment.
-
We have discontinued the use of reusable sheets/blankets in most areas. We are using disposable pillowcase and face rest covers. We will not be able to provide blankets during this time.
-
True HEPA air filters will be running at all times to purify air.
-
Employee raises to compensate increased responsibilities.
